Chiropractors

Dr Gemma Phipps D.C, BSc (Hons), BSc (Hons), M.R.C.C - Clinic Director

I qualified as a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan in 2008. I went on to study at Postgraduate level gaining a PGCert in Clinical Chiropractic.  Prior to studying for my Chiropractic degree I completed a B.Sc. (Hons) in Biological Sciences, Physiology and Pharmacology at Manchester Metropolitan University.

My interest in Chiropractic began after developing back pain due to poor posture whilst working for my local NHS Trust. I visited my local Chiropractic Clinic, and was so impressed by the treatment that I received and the results that I experienced, that I decided to retrain and become a Chiropractor.

In 2010 I completed my foundation level training in Acupuncture through the British Medical Acupuncture Society and in 2012 went on to complete further training in Electroacupuncture.  I went on to train in Applied Kinesiology in 2018.  I enjoy being able to combine the skills and knowledge I have learned to help my patients achieve optimum health.

Outside of the practice I love spending time with my family and my 2 small children.  I enjoy walking, yoga, pilates, watching films and reading.

Dr John Ho D.C, BSc, MSc - Associate

I am a chiropractor specialised in managing various musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions such as lower back pain, neck pain, headaches and dizziness, and issues in the extremities. I graduated with a Masters in Chiropractic from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC), Bournemouth and am registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC). I am also a member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA) and the Royal College of Chiropractors (RCC).

As an evidence-informed manual therapist, I am trained in providing hands-on treatments such as spinal manipulative therapy, soft tissue work, and mobilisation techniques. I am also a firm believer in empowering my patients and giving them the right tools to help themselves through lifestyle changes, physical activity, and education. I like to help my patients understand and make sense of their pain, and guide them on their way to recovery with the best of my abilities.

Outside of work, I like to indulge myself in films, music, and good food. I enjoy talking to other people and hearing their stories, because I believe there is always something one can learn from another. I like to stay active and keep fit whenever I can. I've picked up a jump rope at the start of the year and am loving it!

Ruslan Ghizdaru

As a level 3 qualified sports massage therapist for over 10 years, I believe that regular massages are not just a luxury, they are a necessity for maintaining a healthy mind and body. Massages can help reduce stress, improve circulation, relieve muscle tension, and even boost your immune system. By incorporating regular massages into your self-care routine, you too can improve your overall well-being and lead a happier, healthier life.

I am passionate about helping patients feel their best and reach their wellness goals. I have the skills knowledge to help athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike to recover and perform at their best.  I understand the importance of a personalized approach to massage therapy and I am dedicated to providing tailored treatments to meet the unique needs of each of my clients.

Judy Luzaic - Front Desk Team

Having suffered sciatica some years ago I was lucky enough to find Gemma and her Team of Chiropractors who helped me on the road to recovery.  No longer suffering and only need tweaking from time to time.

I am now fortunate enough to be working with this great team of people dedicated to helping their patients become more mobile and ease their aches and pains.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching rugby, painting, reading and socializing with friends.

Isabella Powell - Front Desk Team

I have worked in public facing roles all my working life, having started out as a peripatetic music/performing arts teacher, and running my own theatre company from the age of 17.

I have since left the school environment behind and moved into customer services. I studied for an English Literature and Language Specialism degree at Wolverhampton University and use this in my roles within customer services.  I now split my time between the Reception desk in Clinic and a Front of House role at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre.

In my limited spare time, I love reading, theatre, music, drawing and crafting and spending time with my family and friends.”
